The best time to acquire a second language is during the preschool years. According to a research article in the Time magazine, the best time to learn a language is before the age of six. Children at this age group have very good (sharp) listening ability to learn the correct pronunciation in English and they are at the age where their homework load is minimal. Thus, they can focus on learning of a new language skill without much distraction. That would also mean that there is only a small window of available time for children to learn English effectively. We believe the responsibility to create the best opportunities for children to learn good English and to discover a whole new world of English lies with our principals (schools), teachers and parents. Therefore, give the gift of (English) language to your children. Help them learn and express themselves well in English.
