The Four-Stage Learning Progression (4SLP) Approach

 

The concept of the Four-Stage Learning Progression (4SLP) approach was originally proposed by Professor Dr. Ooi C.K. who has acquired many languages during his childhood and schooling years. He understands that learning a language in a natural way, much like how we learned our mother tongue, is the best way of acquiring a language skill, especially with children.

Having obtained positive results for the Four-Stages Learning Progression (4SLP) approach implemented in many schools across Asia, it is proven that it is possible to create an immersion English language environment with the Four-Stage Learning Progression (4SLP) in countries where English is taught as a second language.
